At All About Fun Therapy, we support families accessing services through a range of funding options.
If you are unsure which funding option applies to your child, please contact us — we are happy to assist.

NDIS — Self-Managed
Families with self-managed NDIS funding can access our full range of services.
Under self-managed funding:
- Families manage their own invoices
- Payment is made directly to the service provider
- Families claim reimbursement through the NDIS portal
This option provides flexibility in choosing service providers and service schedules.
NDIS — Plan-Managed
Families with plan-managed NDIS funding can access services through their nominated plan manager.
Under plan-managed funding:
- Invoices are sent to the plan manager
- The plan manager processes payments
- Families do not need to manage invoices directly
This option provides administrative support for families.

Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plan — CDMP)
Some children may be eligible for occupational therapy services through a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, arranged by a General Practitioner (GP).
Under a CDM Plan:
- A GP provides a referral for allied health services
- Medicare may provide rebates for up to 5 sessions per calendar year (shared across allied health providers)
- Families pay the service fee upfront
- Medicare rebates are claimed directly by the family
Important notes:
- A valid GP referral is required before attending sessions
- Medicare rebates are set by Medicare and may not cover the full session fee
- A gap payment may apply
We recommend speaking with your GP to determine whether your child is eligible for a CDM Plan.
Private Funding
Families may also access services privately without funding support.
Private funding may be suitable for:
- Families not accessing NDIS
- Families awaiting funding approval
- Short-term support needs
- Consultation or assessment services
Private services are charged according to our current service rates.
Not Sure Which Funding Option Applies?
If you are unsure whether your child is eligible for NDIS or Medicare (CDM) funding, we are happy to guide you through the process.
